Holly Kiang, a New York City native, is a dancer and performer. She knew she wanted to dance when she passed by her local ballet studio as a tot. After gaining ballet and jazz foundations, she studied social and competitive Latin and ballroom dances for a decade. With a youth ballroom dance company, she performed at venues such as the Kennedy Center, Madison Square Garden, and Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln Center.  Relishing the connection and improvisational aspects of partnered dancing, she focused on salsa, Argentine tango, and eventually, lindy hop and swing-family dances in 2014. Since then, she has been an avid social swing dancer. Soon after, she joined a lindy hop and jazz dance team, Yeah Man. She loves delving into the nuances of swing and other dance forms, which inspires her to incorporate diverse movement ideas into her swing dancing.
